Patricia works in acrylic, watercolour, mixed media and collage. She considers herself a colourist, impressionist. Pat’s love of colour, movement, pattern, line and texture can easily be identified in each piece of her work. Patricia began her career studied Commercial Art in High School and took courses at the Hawkley Valley School of Fine Art in Toronto.
On moving to Niagara in 2000, Pat was mentored by noted Niagara Artist James Kerr. Patricia has also studied with Margret Martin, John Leonard, Denise Sperry and Jane E Jones (Jane and Denise are both 7 signature American Artists. Patricia has been juried First in show several times and had honourable mentions. Her work has been covered by major media in the Niagara area.
She is currently being represented by Art Space Gallery 106 in Niagara on the Lake, Frame Craft St. Catharines, Haftar Fine Art Studio, Welland and Capitol Arts Market Simcoe. Pat is an Art Instructor for the Niagara Pumphouse, Niagara Art Gallery, Port Colborne Art Association, Capitol Arts Market. As well Pat opens her studio to students during the week.
