Lynne Gaetz is a visual artist currently based in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario. Raised in Calgary, she spent many years in the Montreal region. After a four-year stint in Cambridge, Ontario, she moved to Niagara on the Lake in the fall of 2020.
Many different elements have contributed to her artistic direction: She studied art at universities in Calgary, Quebec City, and Montreal, and she has taken courses with prominent figurative artists. Additionally, her travels to places such as Mexico, India, Kenya, Turkey, Morocco, and Chile have influenced her colour palette. She has exhibited in galleries in Alberta, Quebec, and Ontario, and her work is in several private collections.
